Torn Warriors is organized to empower and enable disabled veterans and active duty service members through off-road motorsports, shooting events and other activities. Torn Warriors seeks to provide disabled veterans and active duty service members a sense of normalcy and pride participating and enjoying sports and events previously unavailable to them due to injury. Through human or mechanical assistance and modification, Torn Warriors intends to enable veterans to compete or participate in local, regional or national events while also serving as a living representation of sacrifice for the Nation, demonstrating to the communities and the public the definition of true grit and resilience.
Torn Warriors will concentrate its resources on the veterans and active duty service members who are physically challenged, to include amputees, limited mobility, and visually impaired warriors. Consideration will be made for disabled veterans and active duty service members who are more able bodied. All recipients will have medical consent prior to participation. Support will be approved by the Board via majority vote.
Torn Warriors’ Board of Directors and officers are uniquely qualified by educational and professional experience to train and equip disabled veterans and service members in the below disciplines. All Board Members are veterans of the Armed Forces with overseas deployments and a passion and accreditations for firearms, off-road motorsports and/or outdoor activities.
