Shooting sports represent competitive and recreational sporting activities that involve proficiency tests of accuracy, precision and speed in shooting. These activities include, but are not limited to, man-portable guns and bows/crossbows. Torn Warriors believes impairment should not hinder a service member or veteran from shooting or competing in shooting sports.
In order for disabled veterans and service members to participate or compete in such sports, Torn Warriors will seek to modify firearms, bows and crossbows for ease of use.
These alterations include modifications to the holster, trigger, sites, slide and/or handgrip. Additionally, Torn Warriors will conduct training and shooting events for these warriors to ensure proper handling and safe practices with these new modifications.
